FBI and San Diego Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify U.S. Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the U.S. Bank branch located at 4827 Newport Avenue in San Diego, California, on Thursday, September 12, 2013.
On Thursday, September 12, 2013, at approximately 3:22 p.m., the U.S. Bank branch located at 4827 Newport Avenue in San Diego, California, was robbed by an unknown male using a demand note. After entering the bank, the robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for cash. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided him with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money the robber walked out of the bank. No injuries were reported.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
- Sex: Male
- Race: White
- Height: Approximately 5’11” tall
- Age: Mid-30s
- Clothing: Sunglasses, a tan or green hat with a yellow emblem, light green or tan shirt, and tan shorts
