FBI and National City Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Unknown Chase Bank Robber

The FBI and National City Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank branch located at 1130 East Plaza Boulevard in National City, California, on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at approximately 6:05 p.m., the Chase Bank branch located at 1130 East Plaza Boulevard in National City, California, was robbed by an unknown male. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and walked up to the victim teller’s counter. The robber had his left hand in his jacket, simulating a weapon, and made a verbal demand for cash in English and then Spanish.
After receiving a sum of money, the robber exited the bank and was last seen running westbound through the bank’s parking lot.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Hispanic
- Age: Late 20s to early 30s
- Height: Approximately 5’7” to 5’8” tall
- Weight: Approximately 170 to 180 lbs.
- Build: Medium
- Clothing: White baseball cap with yellow San Diego Chargers bolt logo, black jacket, black bandana covering nose and mouth, black sunglasses, blue jeans and possibly wore a white glove on right hand (not confirmed)
