FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify U.S. Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the U.S. Bank branch located at 12265 Scripps Poway Parkway, Suite 107 in Poway, California, on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at approximately 5:32 p.m., a U.S. Bank branch located at 12265 Scripps Poway Parkway, Suite 107 in Poway, California, was robbed by an unknown male. At the time of the robbery, the robber walked up to the victim teller and provided a written demand note. Fearing for his/her safety, the victim teller provided the robber a sum of money. The robber fled the area in an unknown direction.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Approximately 30 to 35 years old
Height: Approximately 5’9” to 6’0” tall
Weight: Approximately 180 lbs
Build: Medium build
Clothing: White baseball cap with dark “NY” logo on the front; white, long-sleeved dress shirt; gray T-shirt; dark jeans; and black shoes with white trim.
