FBI and Oceanside Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Wells Fargo Bank Robbers

The FBI and Oceanside Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify three unknown males responsible for robbing the Wells Fargo Bank, 2701 Vista Way, Oceanside, California, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at approximately 10:30 a.m. the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 2701 Vista Way, Oceanside, California, was robbed by three unknown males. At the time of the robbery, the three men entered the bank and yelled their intentions to rob the bank. Robber number one stood in the lobby yelling instructions to bank employees and customers to get down on the floor. The other two robbers jumped over the counter and proceeded to take money from two teller cash drawers. One of the robbers who jumped over the counter was believed to be armed with a handgun that was in his waistband.

After taking money from the two teller cash drawers the two robbers ran around the counter towards the bank lobby and all three robbers ran out of the bank. The robbery lasted approximately one minute. All three robbers wore masks gloves, dark pants, tennis shoes, and dark or gray jackets. No physical injuries were reported at the time of the robbery.
