FBI and Local Law Enforcement Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Bank Robber

The FBI and local law enforcement are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man believed responsible for robbing two banks this week using a demand note. The first robbery occurred on Monday, December 20, 2010, at approximately 9:55 a.m., at the California Coast Credit Union, 1704 Sweetwater Road, National City. The second robbery occurred on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at approximately 9:10 a.m., at the California Coast Credit Union, 386 East H Street, Suite 213, Chula Vista.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: Black
Age: Mid 30’s
Height: 5’5” to 5’9” tall
Weight: Approximately 140 lbs.
Build: Thin to medium
Hair: Short black hair; moustache and goatee
Clothing: Black hat with grey/black emblem, large black sunglasses, black button-up shirt, also has worn a red shirt, black trench coat, and black leather gloves
Miscellaneous: Long nose, gap in teeth, slightly discolored teeth
