California Residents Sentenced for Federal Narcotics Violations

United States Attorney Laura E. Duffy announced the sentencing today of Chansamone Phrakousonh, Vilapheth Ham Phrakousonh, Boualivanh Phrakousonh, Khampha Phrakousonh, and Noy Bouchaleun for federal narcotics violations.

United States District Court Judge Barry T. Moskowitz sentenced Chansamone Phrakousonh and Vilapheth Ham Phrakousonh to each serve 135 months in custody and five years of supervised release and Noy Bouchaleun to serve 33 months in custody and three years of supervised release.

Judge Moskowitz sentenced Boualivanh Phrakousonh to serve 93 days (time served) and Khampha Phrakousonh to serve 288 days (time served) and each to serve three years of supervised release.

The defendants previously entered guilty pleas to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Judge Moskowitz also sentenced Kinnalon Phrakousonh to serve 46 months in custody, six months in a community reentry center, and one year of supervised release based on her guilty plea to unlawful use of a communication device.

United States Attorney Duffy praised the efforts of the San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force - Gang Group and all the member agencies and law enforcement officials who participated in this Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation.
