FBI and San Diego Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Wells Fargo Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing a Wells Fargo bank today.

On Friday, August 13, 2010, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a white male robbed the Wells Fargo bank located at 1302 Garnet Avenue, San Diego, California. The robber entered the bank, approached the teller, and produced a note demanding cash and threatening a gun. No weapon was observed, however, and no one was injured.

The robber is described as follows:

Race: White
Age: Mid 40s to mid 50s
Height: Approximately 5’8”
Build: Slender
Eyes: Brown
Other: Tanned skin, scruffy appearance with grey beard
Clothing: White long sleeve button down shirt with sleeves rolled up, blue jeans, dark shoes, sunhat.

Wells Fargo is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
