FBI and San Diego Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify San Diego National Bank Robber

The FBI and the San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male responsible for robbing the San Diego National Bank, located at 7877 Ivanhoe, La Jolla, California on Saturday, September 12, 2009.
On Saturday, September 12, 2009, at approximately 10:10 a.m. an unknown male entered the San Diego National Bank, 7877 Ivanhoe Avenue, La Jolla, California and robbed one of the tellers. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, approached a teller at a teller station, and presented a demand note for money. After receiving a sum of money, the robber exited the bank and fled the area on foot.
The robber is described as follows;
- Sex: Male
- Race: White
- Age: 70 to 80 years old
- Height: 6’4
- Build: Medium
- Hair: White
- Complexion: Liver spots on skin
- Clothing: Wore prescription eyeglasses, beige/black checkered blazer, black/white/beige checkered golf type hat, light colored shirt and slacks.
- Other: Robber was carrying an oxygen tank in an over the shoulder bag with an oxygen tube going to his nose
