FBI, San Diego Sheriff’s Department, and San Diego Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Serial Bank Robber

The FBI, San Diego Sheriff’s Department, and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male responsible for robbing at least six banks in San Diego County since April 18, 2009. The young man, dubbed the “Skater Bandit” is believed to have robbed the following banks:

May 8, 2009 | Temecula Valley Bank, 985 Lomas Santa Fe Dr., Solana Beach, CA |
May 11, 2009 | US Bank, 2830 Via de la Valle, San Diego, CA |
The bank robber is described below as follows:

Height: | 5’10 |
Weight: | 155 to 170 lbs. |
Age: | Mid 20’s |
Clothing: | Brown knit hat, sunglasses and gray sweater |
The bandit typically enters the bank and presents a demand note for cash. To date, no weapon has been seen.
