FBI and San Diego Police Department Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Point Loma Bank Robbery Suspect

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male responsible for robbing the Point Loma Credit Union, located at 3777 Sports Arena Boulevard, San Diego, California, at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009.

At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, approached a teller, and presented a demand note for cash. After receiving a sum of money the robber exited the bank and fled in an unknown direction. No weapon was observed.

The robber is described as follows:

Race: White
Sex: Male
Age: Late 40s – Early 50s
Height: 5’6” – 5’7”
Weight: 240 – 260 lbs.
Clothing: Faded blue t-shirt, khaki pants, black shoes, white socks, brown baseball cap.
