The FBI Salt Lake City Division-Billings Resident Agency and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) continue to investigate a shooting incident on the Crow Reservation in Montana. The FBI responded to the scene in the early morning hours of December 2, 2011, joining BIA agents who had already arrived. FBI and BIA special agents responded to a residence in the community of Pryor and are conducting a death investigation to determine the facts of the case. An adult male is deceased. One subject, a juvenile male, was taken into custody. To reiterate the information the FBI released earlier today, there is no threat to public safety. Because this is an ongoing investigation and to preserve the integrity of the evidence, the FBI will not be releasing any further details about this incident.
