  • District of Idaho (208) 334-1211

Francisco Javier Rivera-Suazo, a/k/a Damien Lopez, a/k/a “Spiderman,” 27, of Honduras, was convicted on Wednesday by a federal jury in Boise, Idaho for conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, announced the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

During the two-day trial, the jury heard evidence that Rivera-Suazo conspired with others to distribute methamphetamine. One witness testified that Rivera-Suazo distributed approximately 25 pounds of high-grade crystal methamphetamine which he brought to Idaho from Southern California during the course of the conspiracy in 2008.

Sentencing is set for November 29, 2010, at the United States Courthouse in Boise, Idaho. Rivera-Suazo faces a sentence of between 10 years and up to life in prison.

This case was investigated by the Treasure Valley Metro Violent Crimes Task Force.
