Seeking Victims in the High Desert Clinic Investigation

The FBI and DEA are seeking to identify potential victims of Dr. Gary Charles Ridenour and nurse practitioner Derek Braddix of the High Desert Clinic located at 2152 Reno Highway in Fallon, Nevada. It is alleged that Ridenour and Braddix prescribed medications, including opioids and benzodiazepines, without legitimate medical purposes and without a physical exam to determine cause for medication. The clinic accepted cash as form of payment; however, patients utilized Medicare/Medicaid when purchasing prescriptions at local pharmacies.

If you were a patient of Ridenour and/or Braddix at the High Desert Clinic between January 1, 2016 and February 2019 and believe you have been affected by these alleged crimes, please complete this brief questionnaire. Your responses are voluntary but would be useful in the federal investigation and to identify you as a potential victim. Based on the responses you provide, you may be contacted by the FBI and/or DEA to provide additional information.

The FBI is legally mandated to identify victims of federal crimes that it investigates and provide these victims with information, assistance services, and resources.

If you have questions, please email HDCVictims@fbi.gov.
