Seeking Victims in L&L Energy, Inc. Case

L&L Energy, Inc. and its CEO, Dickson Lee, have been charged in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington with securities fraud, false certification of financial reports by a corporate officer, and making a false SEC filing. If you purchased and/or sold L&L Energy stock, you may be a victim in this case. In August 2008, L&L Energy began trading on the OTCBB under the ticker symbol LLFH. In February 2010, L&L Energy began trading on NASDAQ under the symbol LLEN.

While we can’t provide any additional information on our ongoing investigation at this time, we do need to hear from you so we can identify victims and determine the extent of the potential fraud. We ask that you please fill out a brief questionnaire requesting the following information:

  • Your basic contact information;
  • Your purchase/sale history of L&L Energy stock;
  • Whether or not you reviewed the company’s public filings, such as its Form 10-Ks and 10-Qs;
  • Whether or not you retained records of your transactions involving L&L Energy.
