Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies and Portland Police Bureau officers arrested two women wanted in connection with a bank robbery this evening in Clackamas. The FBI assisted in the investigation.

At 5:00 p.m., a woman walked into the Rivermark Community Credit Union located at 14935 SE 82nd Drive, demanded cash, got cash, and left. Approximately 20 minutes later, investigators arrested BRITTNEY ANN SYKES, age 23, at her Southeast Portland home. They also arrested a McMinnville resident, EMMA CADAY WESTHUSING, age 19, at the same location. Investigators believe Westhusing drove the getaway vehicle for Sykes. Both face one federal count of bank robbery.

Sykes and Westhusing are lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center. Both women will make an initial appearance before a federal judge at the U.S. District Courthouse in Portland on Tuesday, December 7 at 1:30 p.m.

All defendants should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
