On Friday, September 24, 2010, the FBI charged four Oregon men by criminal complaint with one count each of bank robbery for the takeover-style robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 110 NE Roberts Avenue in Gresham. At approximately 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, three men walked into the bank, ordered everyone to the ground, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. A fourth man is charged with bank robbery for his alleged role as the getaway driver.

The men charged are:

Alexander John Walton, age 37
Pete Michael Keith, age 33
Dennis Lee Miller, age 43
Dale Allan Roane, age 44

The men were captured following a pursuit by Gresham Police Officers. The men all appear to live in or have ties to Portland.

Each of these men will make an initial appearance before a federal magistrate at the U.S. District Courthouse in Portland at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Assistant United States Attorney Fred Weinhouse is prosecuting this case. All defendants should be presumed innocent until found guilty by a court of law.

Note to media: Due to U.S. Department of Justice regulations, the FBI will not release any surveillance photos from the bank or booking photos of the men.
