FBI and Salem Police Department Searching for Bank Robber

The FBI and Salem Police Department are releasing a photo from a robbery that occurred late Thursday afternoon, (01/07/10) at the Bank of America branch located at 3803 Center Street NE in Salem. The man walked into the bank, and, as he approached the teller, he appeared to be reaching for a weapon under his jacket. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the bank on foot.

Witnesses describe the man as:

White
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 180 - 190 pounds
Complexion: dark
Age: 45-60 years old
Hair: dark with some graying, some facial hair
Wearing: yellow knit cap, dark zip-up sweatshirt with white stripes, a blue shirt
