FBI Citizens Academy 2014
Applications Now Being Accepted for Spring Session

The FBI Citizens Academy program is designed to bring together a diverse group of business and community leaders to learn about the FBI’s work in Oregon and around the world. The Portland Division will be holding two Citizens Academies this year, with the spring session beginning in Portland on April 9, 2014. There are six evening sessions and one weekday session. The evening sessions cover a variety of topics including international and domestic terrorism, counterespionage, cyber crimes, violent crimes, organized criminal enterprises, and legal matters. In addition, during the range day session, participants will have a chance to meet and hear from members of the FBI SWAT team as well as employees in the bomb tech program and on the Evidence Response Team.

Participants are required to attend all sessions and to complete a background check prior to admittance. After graduation, participants have the opportunity to join the Oregon FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association and to continue the partnership with our office.

Due to high demand, the selection process is competitive and acceptance is not guaranteed.

Applications are now being accepted for the spring 2013 class. All applications must be submitted online. Applications are due no later than Monday, March 3, 2014.
