FBI Seeks Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Dubbed the I-55 Bandit

The FBI is asking for the public’s help to identify the “I-55 Bandit.” Since May 6, 2013, he may have robbed 10 banks and attempted to rob two others in five states: Illinois, Missouri, Maryland, West Virginia, and Tennessee. In all the completed robberies, the subject used a demand note and implied he was armed. No one was physically injured. The amounts of money taken are not being disclosed.
The I-55 Bandit is described as young (early to mid-20s), tall (6'0” to 6' 3”), and thin with short brown or strawberry blond hair. FBI St. Louis dubbed him the I-55 Bandit because all the banks robbed in the St. Louis area were along Interstate 55. Surveillance photos from the various robberies are below.

In an existing partnership with the FBI, the digital billboard companies offer the billboard space, at no cost, as a public service.
