Two Federal Inmates Enter Pleas and are Sentenced in Federal Court

CLARKSBURG, WV—Two former USP Hazelton inmates entered pleas of guilty and were sentenced on September 8, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
JERMAINE DUPLESSIS, age 25, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a prohibited object, being a cellular telephone, on February 22, 2011, at the satellite camp at USP Hazelton. DUPLESSIS was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 21-month sentence.
EUGENE WYNN, age 45, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a prohibited object, being a cellular telephone, on May 12, 2011, at the satellite camp at USP Hazelton. WYNN was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 87-month sentence.
The cases were prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower and were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at USP Hazelton.
