Johnstown Crack Cocaine Dealer Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania has been sentenced in federal court to 60 months in prison and five years’ supervised release on his conviction of distribution of cocaine base, commonly known as “crack,” United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Court Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Craig S. Berry, 46.
According to information presented to the court, on Jan. 21, 2010, Berry and a co-defendant distributed five grams or more of cocaine base.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie L. Haines prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the Johnstown Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Berry.
