Overtime Bandit Wanted

PHOENIX, AZ—Phoenix FBI Special Agent in Charge Nathan Gray announced the FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “Overtime Bandit.”

The “Overtime Bandit” enters the bank, demands money from bank employees, and flees the bank with an accomplice. He is described as a black male, 6’1”-6’4”, 25-30 years old, medium to muscular build, and has consistently worn a black wig.

Desert Schools Federal Credit Union is offering up to $10,000 for original information leading to the conviction of this suspect. Any information regarding the Overtime Bandit and his accomplice should be reported to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or to the FBI at 602-279-5511.

The Overtime Bandit is suspected in the following robberies:

5/22/10: DSFCU, 2355 S. Alma School Road, Mesa, AZ
6/09/10: Chase Bank, 1080 West Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ
6/26/10: US Bank, 1159 West Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ
8/09/10: DSFCU, 2355 S. Alma School Road, Mesa, AZ

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is comprised of the Phoenix Police Department, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Mesa Police Department, and the Scottsdale Police Department.
