Robbery of Citizens Bank Branch in Philadelphia Wednesday

Updated September 16, 2015: The subject’s estimated age has been updated; it is believed he is in his 20s to 30s.


The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery yesterday of the Citizens Bank branch located at 10650 Bustleton Avenue.

At approximately 1:05 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled in a silver sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.

The subject is described as a black male in his 20s to 30s, approximately 5’11” tall, medium build, with a thick beard. He wore a pink Polo buttoned-down shirt with white stripes, tan pants, and a gray baseball cap with the Polo logo embroidered on the front.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There is a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
