Repeat Robber Hits Second Bank This Week

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today of the Citizens Bank branch located at 7248 Rising Sun Avenue.

At approximately 9:47 a.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank.

The subject is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5’6” tall and 200 pounds, with a mustache. He wore a dark blue v-neck T-shirt, gray cargo shorts, white sneakers, black sunglasses, and a gray New York Yankees cap.

This subject is believed also responsible for the August 10, 2015 robbery of the PNC Bank branch at 1316 Bethlehem Pike in the Flourtown section of Springfield Township, Pennsylvania. On that occasion, he wore a white T-shirt and a black Chicago Bulls cap.

 

 

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about these robberies or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
