Armed Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Plymouth Township

The Plymouth Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the Tuesday, January 6, 2015 armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 481 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

At approximately 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, the subject entered the bank. He brandished a handgun and demanded money from tellers. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank. He was last seen on foot, heading south toward an adjacent store parking lot.

The subject is described as a white male. His face was fully covered by a black mask with sheer black material over the eyes. He wore a blue and black hooded windbreaker with a “GE ENERGY” logo on the left chest, dark-colored dress pants, and what appeared to be a suit jacket under the windbreaker. His weapon was a black semi-automatic handgun; a small portion of its silver-colored barrel was visible through the ejection port on the slide.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
