Robbery of Citizens Bank Branch in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today of the Citizens Bank branch located at 6271 Frankford Avenue.

At approximately 9:32 a.m., the subject entered the bank and demanded money. He made a verbal threat about a gun, though no weapon was displayed. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot. He was last seen heading south on Mulberry Street.

The subject is described as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s, 5’7”-5’8” tall, average build, balding, with grayish-blue eyes and a cut on the bridge of his nose; he wore a black sweatshirt and blue jeans with a red stain on the back of the right leg.

  

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
