Robbery of TD Bank Branch in Blue Bell

The Whitpain Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today of the TD Bank branch located at 1799 Swede Road, Blue Bell, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

At approximately 1:50 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. He said he had a gun, though no weapon was physically displayed. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot and was last seen running south on Swede Road.

The subject is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5'10” tall, medium build, with a mustache and goatee. He had on a red Phillies baseball cap, sunglasses, dark-colored suit coat over a white button-down collared shirt and white t-shirt, jeans, and dark-colored shoes. He also wore a dark-colored messenger bag over his shoulder/across his body.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-641-8910 or the Whitpain Township Police Department at 610-279-9033. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
