Robbery of PNC Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia February 11, 2013

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for Saturday’s robbery of the PNC Bank branch located at 3244 North Broad Street in North Philadelphia.

At approximately 8:57 a.m., the subject entered the bank, wrote out a demand note, and gave it to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank, heading toward the 1500 block of Westmoreland Street.

The subject is described as a black male, early to mid-30s, approximately 5’9” tall, with a thin build and light complexion. He wore a brown knit cap, brown jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture.
