Robbery of Citizens Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia December 12, 2013

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery yesterday, December 11, 2013, of the Citizens Bank branch located at 5607 Vine Street in the city’s Haddington section.

At approximately 1:07 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot, heading east through the bank parking lot.

The subject is described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5’9” tall, with a thin build and medium complexion. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black scarf, black hat, and black gloves.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
