Philadelphia Man Charged with Bank Robbery

Keith McCracken, 34, of Philadelphia, was charged today by indictment with one count of bank robbery, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. In particular, the indictment charges the defendant with having robbed the M&T Bank at 7121 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia on December 31, 2012.

If convicted, McCracken faces a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, a three-year term of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul G. Shapiro.
