Robbery of a Colonial American Bank Branch in Horsham

FBI Philadelphia June 08, 2012

The Horsham Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the June 8, 2012 armed robbery of the Colonial American Bank located at 300 Welsh Road in Horsham.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., the subject entered the bank wearing a large-brimmed straw hat, some type of sack or pillowcase over his head with eye holes cut out, sunglasses, dark pants, a suit coat, a tie, and gloves. The subject’s race is not known, and he was 5’7” to 5’11” tall with a heavy/stocky build. The subject was wearing a handgun in a shoulder holster on his right side.

The subject ordered the bank employees onto the ground, and he then fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Horsham Township Police Department at 215-643-8284 or the FBI at 215-418-4043.
