Serial Bank Robber in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

The FBI, the Philadelphia Police Department, the Lower Merion Township (PA) Police Department, and the Moorestown (NJ) Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject believed to be responsible for at least three recent bank robberies in the Philadelphia area. The subject is believed to be responsible for the robberies of the PNC Bank branch at 101 West Main St, Moorestown, NJ on 10/04/2010; the Citizens Bank branch at 121 East City Ave, Lower Merion, PA on 10/25/2010; and the Citizens Bank branch at 2001 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA on 10/26/2010.
During the robberies, the subject made threatening verbal demands of tellers indicating that he was armed with a gun and fled the banks after obtaining cash.
The subject is described as a black male in his late 30’s or early 40’s, 5’8” to 5’10 tall, bald, with a mustache. In all three of these robberies the subject wore sunglasses, and in two of them he wore baseball caps. The subject may speak with a lisp and/or stutter.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI office in Philadelphia at 215-418-4000, the FBI office in Newark at 973-792-3000, the Lower Merion Township Police at 610-642-4200, the Moorestown Police at 856-235-1405, or their local police department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
