Whitehall Man Indicted for Bank Robbery

John Markeith Webb was charged today by Indictment on charges that he robbed the Lafayette Ambassador Bank, located at 280 Line Street in Easton, Pennsylvania, of $4,665 on June 5, 2009, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.

INFORMATION REGARDING THE DEFENDANT:

  • NAME: John Markeith Webb
  • ADDRESS: Whitehall, PA
  • AGE OR YEAR OF BIRTH: 34

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of  25 years’ imprisonment, five years supervised release, a $250,000 fine, a $100 special assessment, and restitution.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Easton Police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Ewald Zittlau.
