Maria Davidson of Grand Island Indicted

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced the federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has returned an indictment against Maria Davidson, 57, of Grand Island. The Indictment charges Davidson with three counts of distribution of methamphetamine in March, 2014.

The maximum possible penalty if convicted is 20 years’ imprisonment, a $1,000,000 fine, a 3 year term of supervised release and a $100 special assessment for each count.

Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

This case was investigated by the Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force.
