North Platte Woman and Colorado Woman Charged with Distribution of Cocaine and Crack Cocaine

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that on March 6, 2012, Lisa Ann Rosenberg, 27, of North Platte, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for distributing 28 grams or more of cocaine base. On or about June 14, 2011, Rosenberg sold 51.27 grams of cocaine base to a confidential informant working with the CODE Task Force in North Platte. Rosenberg will serve five years on supervised release after completion of the prison term.

This case was investigated by the CODE Task Force, which is made up of law enforcement agencies throughout a 22-county area in west-central/southwest Nebraska and includes the North Platte Police Department, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office, Frontier County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
