U.S. Attorney’s Office April 16, 2012
  • District of Nebraska (402) 661-3700

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Alejandro Robles, 21, of Grand Island, Nebraska, was sentenced to 36 months’ imprisonment by United States District Court Judge John M. Gerrard, following his conviction for misprision of a felony. The Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine on May 28, 2010. Robles was one of the people present during the sale of the methamphetamine and pled guilty to an offense where he admitted to concealing the offense from being discovered and failed to report the offense. In addition to his prison sentence, Robles was also ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to the Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force, a $100 special assessment fee, and to serve one year on supervised release following the completion of his prison sentence.

This case was investigated by the members of the Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force and by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
