Omaha Man Sentenced in Drug Conspiracy

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Terry L. Mountain, 35, of Omaha, Nebraska., was sentenced on August 22, 2011 by United States District Judge Laurie Smith Camp in Omaha, Nebraska to 262 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. In addition to his prison term, Mountain will serve five years of supervised release following his release from prison. Mountain was also sentenced on a supervised release violation to 35 months and 29 days in prison, to run concurrently with the conspiracy sentence.

Mountain was responsible for 500 grams or more of crack cocaine. He was sentenced as a Career Offender, due to his previous convictions in State and federal court.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Omaha Police Department, in conjunction with the Greater Omaha Safe Streets Task Force.
