The first subject, later identified as co-defendant James (Jamie) T. Hohlfeld entered the vehicle from the front passenger door and took actions to release and unlock a side door of the armored vehicle. The second subject, later identified as Dylan C. Trones, approached the side door and removed one or more items from inside the armored car. Both Hohlfeld and Trones then were shown to leave the area on foot. Thereafter, Hohlfeld and Trones drove with the stolen money to Hohlfeld’s residence in Moline, Illinois and then drove to Wisconsin. Hohlfeld and Trones were later arrested by the FBI on March 31, 2010. Hohlfeld was arrested in Moline, Illinois and Trones in Sparta, Wisconsin.
