Lincoln Man Sentenced for Crack Distribution

United States Attorney Deborah Gilg and the Lincoln Police Department, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI announce the following information for the attention of the media:
Event Triggering this Release:
On April 6, 2010, the Honorable Richard G. Kopf sentenced Alex Green to 10 years in prison for conspiring to distribute crack cocaine in Lincoln. Green was also ordered to complete five years of supervised release after his prison term is finished.
Evidence acquired by the United States government identified Alex Green as being involved with over a kilogram of crack cocaine. On December 7, 2007, Green attempted to flee after officers with the Lincoln Police Department stopped his vehicle. When captured, Green was found in possession of crack cocaine.
