Lamar Bertucci, age 40 of Winnebago, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison by Joseph F. Bataillon, Chief United States District Judge, following his conviction for the illegal possession of eagle feathers. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service officers received a report of several eagle carcasses found alongside the Missouri River near Macy, Nebraska.
