Robbery of ONB Bank Branch in Edmond

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the ONB bank branch at 1358 E. 15th Street in Edmond, Oklahoma.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. on June 5, a white male entered the ONB bank and approached the teller counter, where he pulled his jacket back to display a semi-automatic pistol he had tucked in the waistband of his pants. The subject verbally demanded money, and the teller complied. The subject departed the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot headed westbound on E. 15th Street. No one was injured in this robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows:

  • White male
  • Mid-40s
  • Light brown hair
  • Ponytail, mustache
  • 6’0” tall
  • 220 pounds
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black Nike jacket with Oklahoma State logo and dark jeans and carrying a semi-automatic pistol

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Edmond Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
