Robbery of Kirkpatrick Bank Branch in Edmond

James E. Finch, special agent in charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the Kirkpatrick Bank branch at 3001 East Memorial Road in Edmond, Oklahoma.

At approximately 10:07 a.m., an unidentified white male in his mid-20s with light brown hair and a military-style haircut and a neatly trimmed beard, wearing a black and white plaid shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes, sunglasses, and carrying a backpack, entered the Kirkpatrick Bank and presented a demand note.

The teller complied with the demand and handed an undisclosed amount of money to the subject.

The subject departed the bank northbound on foot.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
