James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the IBC Bank at 12241 N. May Ave. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on July 17, two females entered the bank and approached the teller counter where one of the subjects demanded that money be placed into a green reusable grocery bag. The teller complied, and the subjects left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was observed.

The subjects were last seen leaving the bank southbound on May Ave. in a white, four-door Hyundai Elantra, which was located abandoned a short time later in the 12000 block of N. Stratford Dr. in Oklahoma City. No one was injured in the robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subjects as follows:

Subject 1: Black female with curly hair and a medium complexion, early 20s, 5’5” tall, 110 to 130 pounds, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and carrying a green reusable grocery bag.

Subject 2: Black female, mid-20s, 5’4” to 5’6” tall, 110 to 120 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt and sweatpants and a dark bandana over her nose and mouth.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
