James E. Finch, special agent in charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the IBC Bank branch at 4902 N. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 11:50 a.m. on October 7, an unidentified male entered the bank carrying a black revolver. The armed subject handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied with the demand and the subject placed an undisclosed amount of money into a yellow, beige, and black bag he was carrying over his shoulder.

The subject was last seen leaving the bank on foot heading southbound on N. Western Avenue. No one was injured in the robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subjects as follows:

Subject 1: Black male with short hair, tear drop tattoos on both cheeks, 6’0” tall, slim build, 160 to 180 pounds, early 30s; wearing a gray, long-sleeved sweatshirt, khaki pants, a green camouflage military-style jungle or boonie hat; and carrying a yellow, beige, and black bag and a black revolver.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
