Fugitive Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief Bill Citty, Oklahoma City Police Department, announced the arrest of Patrick Terhune, 33 years of age, on an outstanding felony warrant from Bexar County, Texas.

On July 4, 2014, the Oklahoma City Division of the FBI received information that a federal fugitive was located at a Southside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma residence. A warrant dated July 3, 2014, from the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas had been issued for Patrick Terhune for violation of 18 U.S.C. 2252(a)-transportation of child pornography.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014, FBI agents and officers of the Oklahoma City Police Department Gang Enforcement Unit arrested Terhune without incident in front of a residence in South Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Terhune was booked into the Grady County Jail and is pending extradition to Texas to face federal charges.

The public is reminded a charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
