Attempted Robbery of FAA Credit Union

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced the attempted robbery of the FAA Federal Credit Union located at 2800 N. Kelly in Edmond, Oklahoma.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, a heavily disguised white male entered the credit union and approached the teller counter and asked for a brochure. Without saying anything further and without obtaining any money, the subject turned and departed the bank. The subject was last observed heading northbound on foot from the bank. No one was injured in this attempted robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as a white male, late 20s, slim build, 6’0” tall, 165 pounds, brown hair, and wearing a dark blue jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt (hoodie), blue jeans, dark gloves, a black wig, fake mustache, and sunglasses.
