Robbery of the Weokie Credit Union

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the Weokie Credit Union at 7600 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 3:27 p.m. this afternoon, a black male entered the credit union, approached a teller counter, and handed the teller a note stating, “I’m armed. Give me the cash or else.” The subject implied he had a gun and kept one hand in his pocket but no weapon was seen. The teller complied with the demand.

The subject departed the credit union and was last seen headed eastbound on foot. No one was injured in today’s robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows:

  • Black male, early 30s, 5’10”-5’11” tall, medium build, dark blue jeans, dark tennis shoes, grey T-shirt, a heavy dark grey down style jacket, and a white baseball style cap with the word “Boss” in dark lettering across the front.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
