MidFirst Serial Robber Strikes Again

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the MidFirst Bank branch at 13240 N. May Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. today, an unknown male wearing a fake mustache and goatee entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The subject demanded money from the teller, telling her to “hurry up.” The teller complied with the demand and provided the subject with an undisclosed amount of money from the teller drawer. The subject then departed the bank with the money and was last observed running south into the parking area of a drive-in restaurant. The subject is believed to have departed in a vehicle parked in the drive-in restaurant. No one was injured in today’s robbery, and no weapon was observed or implied. This subject is believed to be the same individual suspected of robbing the same MidFirst Bank on October 31, 2013, and the MidFirst branch located at 6351 N. MacArthur in Warr Acres, Oklahoma on November 21, 2013.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows:

• White male
• 25-35 years of age
• 5’9” to 6’0” tall
• 180 to 200 pounds
• Fair complexion
• Wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, and fake black mustache and goatee

These robberies are being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City and Warr Acres Police Departments. MidFirst Bank is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for these robberies.
