Warr Acres Man Arrested for Bank Robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of the Bank of Oklahoma, 5857 Northwest Expressway, Warr Acres, Oklahoma. This bank is located inside the Homeland Grocery Store.
At approximately 10:07 a.m. this morning, a white male entered the bank and showed the teller a note stating, “Give me all the money out of the drawer and no one will be hurt.” The bank employee complied with the demand and the robber left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured.
The robber was described as a white male, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, wearing a green shirt, black shorts, and tennis shoes. Witnesses observed the robber fleeing the bank and provided a direction of travel. Warr Acres Police Department was able to establish a perimeter and officers observed the robber within the established perimeter. Christian Martinez, 21 years of age, from Warr Acres, Oklahoma, was arrested and will be charged by a complaint with bank robbery. The public is reminded that a complaint is merely an accusation and that the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The robbery was investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
