Seeking Information on Robbery of Coppermark Bank

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of the Coppermark Bank, 6809 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 3:00 this afternoon, two males entered the bank and verbally demanded money from bank employees. One robber was holding a knife while the other robber held a pistol. The robber holding the pistol pointed the weapon at the bank employees while demanding money. The bank employees complied with the demand and the robbers left the bank on foot carrying an unknown amount of U.S. currency. No one was injured in today's robbery. Witnesses observed the robbers leaving the area in a black pickup truck possibly a Dodge model.

The robber holding the knife was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5'8" to 5'9" in height. He was wearing a long-sleeve shirt and dark pants. He had red or maroon colored pantyhose over his head and face. The robber holding the pistol was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5'11" in height. He was wearing a long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants. He also had red or maroon pantyhose over his head and face.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. At this point, law enforcement believe these individuals are the same ones that robbed the Bank of Oklahoma on May 6, 2011 at 4324 S.E. 44th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
